Some fans have described Camille Lamb as the ‘villain’ of Below Deck season 10 — and now she’s clapping back. The second chief stew, who has argued with nearly everyone on her team (as well as her bosses), is tired of the online haters, and she just shared a post letting everyone know how she feels.
The star has been targeted over her work ethic, and several coworkers have pointed out her alleged laziness and refusal to do basic tasks. She also appears to throw castmates under the bus, including Captain Sandy Yawn, who stepped in when Captain Lee Rosbach was forced to leave due to an injury.
“I’m not a bad person because I come off lazy,” she said in a video while driving. Camille confessed to having “a bit of an attitude,” but she shared that she’s “working on it, getting better about it, growing.”
She added that “at the end of the day, again, I’m proud of myself … I have, you know, morals, ethics, values, all those things.” The star also insisted she’s “not a mean girl, not a bad person.”
“I’m not gonna go to your page and talk about how the fact that you have two followers and you’re overweight,” said Camille, via Heavy. Smiling, she added, “I’m just not gonna do it, it’s not me.”
Camille doesn’t want to give attention to “people like yourselves,” but she asked that viewers “have a little mercy” and “have a little grace” for her. “Please stop,” she ended the post, adding that it’s a “bit much” to wake up to these negative messages each day.
Will Camille keep her job throughout the season? Some have argued that Captain Lee’s departure left a leadership vacuum, allowing the second stew to continue her controversial behavior.
Below Deck season 10 is currently airing Monday nights at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
