Brittany Cartwright is ready for a second child.
As she answered questions from fans on her Instagram Story on February 25, the former Vanderpump Rules cast member responded to someone who wanted to know if Brittany’s one-year-old son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, who she and Jax Taylor welcomed in April 2021, would be getting a sibling anytime soon.
“When is Cruz getting a sibling?” they wondered.
“If it’s up to me, as soon as Jax gets back lol,” Brittany replied, via Heavy.
In July of last year, Jax shared his thoughts on having a second child, also while answering a fan’s question on his Instagram Story.
“When are you guys going to have another cutie pie?” the fan asked.
“We’re definitely going to have another baby. We’re just kinda waiting a little bit,” he revealed. “I kinda wanna wait until one-and-a-half, two years before we have another. About two years, I think.”
In recent years, Brittany has made it clear that she wants to have at least three children. And after welcoming Cruz nearly two years ago, she told E! News that while Jax preferred two, he may have had a change of heart.
“I have always said three [kids] and Jax has always said two, but as soon as we had Cruz he said we could have as many as I want. So we will probably end up with three!” she shared.
And Brittany isn’t the only Pump Rules personality who is hoping to get pregnant in 2023.
During an episode of Straight Up with Stassi in December 2022, Stassi Schroeder, who shares two-year-old daughter Hartford with Beau Clark, said her main goal for the year is to “have a baby,” noting that she “always knew [she] wanted a big family” and stating that she wants “to have as many kids as [she] can have.”
Lala Kent, whose daughter Ocean Kent Emmett turns two in March, has also expressed a desire to welcome a second child, but she plans to do so with a sperm donor.
“I’m thinking around the summertime I’ll start, like, trying to get pregnant,” Lala said on Scheana Shay‘s podcast in November 2022. “I’m doing a sperm donor. Period. I will not even attempt to try and do it a different way. I don’t want another person involved.”
As for Scheana, she wants to expand her family as well. But she doesn’t want to do so naturally due to complications experienced during the birth of her nearly-two-year-old daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, who she shares with husband Brock Davies.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
