Charli Burnett defended herself after standing up for Raquel Leviss on the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules.
In multiple scenes, the star had her friend’s back as Lala Kent and Katie Maloney went hard against her, claiming Raquel can’t be trusted around men.
Many fans believe Lala and Katie’s statements were prophetic, considering the recent scandal involving Raquel’s reported affair with Tom Sandoval amid his relationship with castmate Ariana Madix. Viewers watched the episode through the lens of the scandal, and many of them attacked Charli for her defense of Raquel.
After the episode aired, Charli took to Twitter and addressed the controversial scenes.
“Oh wow would these convos go differently now…” wrote the star, shared by @queensofbravoplus on Instagram.
She went on to say, “I hate when people aren’t honest. Tbh 🙃 I feel incredibly silly on some things obvi knowing what I know now. I can take the accountability on my end always.”
Charli continued, “But what I won’t apologize for is always being a good & honest girls girl. Even if I look dumb for believing someone.”
“I pride myself always on being a good friend,” she added. “Especially to the women around me. I am only responsible for my words & actions if they ever hurt anyone.”
As of now, Raquel appears to be radioactive as more and more friends continue to drop her. Has Charli joined the pack? Perhaps her current stance will be addressed in the upcoming reunion.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
