UFC lightweight Natan Levy recently sent a warning to Kanye West after his unanimous decision win over Genaro Valdez at UFC Orlando. Levy went after West over the rapper’s recent anti-Semitic comments. The Israeli up-and-comer called out ‘Ye’, coldly offering to settle any issues that the rapper has with Jews.
Proud of his heritage, Levy promised to continue fighting for his people both inside and outside the octagon. ‘Lethal’, however, doesn’t harbor any hatred as he believes life is too short for that. The 31-year-old told the media at UFC Orlando:
“I think life is too short to hate. So for all these hateful people, Sucks for you. I pity you. And other than that, Kanye West, if you got a problem with me or my people, come see me bro.”
“I am Jewish. It’s what I am. It’s what I was born [as]. I’m very proud of it and I will fight for it. I will fight for my people in the octagon or wherever need be. I will not stand for anti-semitism. I won’t stand for any racism. Not around me. Don’t bully anybody around me or I’m gonna find you.”
Levy’s dominant decision victory over Valdez made it two-in-a-row for the only Israeli fighter on the UFC roster.
Kanye West’s anti-semitic comments
Kanye West recently joined far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on his outlet ‘Infowars’ where the rapper voiced his love for ‘Nazis’ and Adolf Hitler. West, with his face covered with a black ski mask, was also joined by Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes who is also known as ‘Ye’s campaign manager.
While the interview was largely denounced, sections of it found their way onto mainstream social media platforms. Also calling himself a ‘Nazi’, West said:
“I see good things about Hitler. Every human being has value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler. I like Hitler.”
Jones, himself a serial provocateur, countered West by stating that the Nazis did some really bad things. ‘Ye’ responded:
“They did good things too. We’ve got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time.”
Additionally, West mocked Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu, who seems set to retake power in Israel after the recent elections. ‘Ye’ was also suspended on Twitter later that night after posting an image of a ‘Swastika’.
