Madison LeCroy revealed the cast of Southern Charm is attempting to find the “truth” regarding Austen Kroll’s alleged hookup with castmate Taylor Ann Green.
The rumored hookup was shocking to fans, as Austen is close with Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Shep Rose, while Taylor herself is close with Austen’s exes – both Madison and castmate Olivia Flowers.
In an interview for Life & Style, Madison shared that the cast is trying to get to the bottom of it.
“I’m waiting to see it all unfold the same as you guys obviously. We talk a lot about it during the new season, so we’re all still trying to figure out what’s the truth,” said Madison, via Us Weekly. “Austen and I are in a place where I don’t really want to get too involved with that, but at the same time, I’d still have an opinion. So, we’re all tiptoeing around right now.”
As of now, Madison “doesn’t know” if she’s actually “heard the truth.”
Although the rest of the cast has not publicly commented on the allegations, Bravo seemed to hint at the rumor via a TikTok concerning Tom Sandoval’s reported affair on Vanderpump Rules.
“Bravo HQ while Vanderpump & Southern Charm drama are both happening at once,” said the video, using sound from another show on the network, \the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
“We’re literally shook right now,” read the caption.
In her Life & Style interview, Madison claimed she hasn’t spoken with Taylor since the hookup allegations, and Taylor has not yet “reach[ed] out” concerning the claims.
Speaking to Us Weekly in October, Austen discussed his friendship with Taylor, and claimed any romance between them would be “a bomb to drop.”
“I love Taylor to pieces, and I cherish her friendship, and we’ve gotten very close,” he said. “I just think that that would be crossing a whole bunch of lines … And a bunch of friendships would really be affected by that.”
He also explained how Shep views their friendship.
“I think Shep really appreciates it,” Austen shared. “He knows that we became close, you know, because of him, and he sees how we act with each other. He’s never gotten jealous about it. Olivia as well, she’s always been like, ‘I love that you two are close,’ and she’s an important person in my life, and I wanna keep it that way.”
