Peter Madrigal Reveals if Raquel or Katie is Better Kisser

Peter Madrigal has gone on dates with both Raquel Leviss and Katie Maloney, and during a podcast appearance earlier this month, he was questioned about which Vanderpump Rules cast member was a “better kisser.”

Before dishing on his dating life and extended role on the upcoming 10th season of the Bravo reality series, Peter named his more recent flame, Raquel, as the “better kisser” of the two, but he admitted that his reasoning wasn’t based on skill.

“Katie was like an eternity ago, so I’m going to go with Raquel,” Peter said on the Jamie All Over podcast, per Heavy, confirming he and Raquel “went out a couple of times.”

After Peter and Raquel enjoyed a couple of dates earlier this year, following Raquel’s split from former fiancé James Kennedy, the longtime SUR Restaurant manager began dating another woman, who he did not name, in October. However, when it comes to their future, he’s not sure their priorities are in alignment.

“I’ve been seeing someone since October, you know, we are hitting that — there’s a rough patch going on, so we’ll see what happens in the future,” he explained. “I like her, I really like her. But I have different goals right now and she has different goals.”

As Peter keeps his sights set on success, he said he will be seen in a more prominent role on Pump Rules season 10 — even though he doesn’t want to get caught up in the cast’s drama.

“The thing is I’m not going to be able to be managing SUR and involved in drama, that would be – that’s not good, you know what I mean, there always has to be someone with a level head through all the chaos involved. Because I manage the restaurant, I mean how bad would that look if I’m like ‘Oh, I’m dating the staff,’” Peter wondered.

While speaking to Us Weekly in July, Raquel addressed her dates with Peter, noting that her castmate asked her out after her late 2021 split from James.

“I was like, ‘Well why not? Right?’ I’m a yes-man now… I think it was more so just saying yes to him asking me out and just trying that whole thing out,” she shared.

And around the same time, she appeared on Katie Maloney’s You’re Gonna Love Me podcast, where she admitted the two of them had a “fun little time.”

“I figured this would be a good opportunity for me just to like get back out in the dating world because I haven’t had an official date since the breakup. And so when he asked me to go grab drinks with him, I was like, ‘Hm okay sure,’” she revealed.

As for how James felt about Raquel’s outings with Peter, he shaded his ex at BravoCon after being asked about Raquel’s claim that she’d be okay with him hooking up with former flame Lala Kent.

“Now she says that after she’s made out with Peter and [Tom Schwartz],” he jabbed.

Vanderpump Rules season 10 is expected to premiere on Bravo in early 2023.
