A source claimed Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton are “still not speaking” despite the sisters’ recent photo together on Oscars night.
The source also shared that Kathy still hasn’t decided if she’ll film for the 13th season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The two siblings, who’ve had ups and downs in the past, dipped back into drama after Kyle seemingly refused to stand up for Kathy amid castmate Lisa Rinna’s allegations against her during a cast trip.
According to an insider for PEOPLE, Kyle and Kathy are “still not speaking” after their drama on last year’s Aspen trip, which resulted in a tense season 12 reunion.
“Nothing has really changed since the reunion. They’re still not speaking. Nobody has made an effort to sit down and patch things up,” said the source. “Kyle is busy focusing on herself right now and Kathy is doing the same. But they’re family and each of them are supportive of the other and always will be.”
The siblings were photographed together during Elton John’s viewing party on Oscars night, though they sat at different tables.
The source shared that Kathy has not yet decided if she’ll film for season 13, though production has already started.
“Kyle is waiting like everyone else to see if she ends up doing the show,” said the insider.
Last December at the People’s Choice Award, the sisters addressed their relationship.
“I have not talked to [Kyle] in a while,” Kathy shared with Access Hollywood. “We’ve texted, but I have not talked to her for a while.”
Speaking with Extra, Kyle explained, “We could be better, but we are sisters and at the end of the day we always come together, but we could be better and that’s what I want, that’s what I need in my life — to feel good.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is currently filming.
