Robyn Dixon and Juan Dixon are officially married — again.
According to a new report, the couple, who were previously married from 2005 to 2012 and share two sons, Corey, 14, and Carter, 13, said “I do” for a second time as cameras rolled for the upcoming season seven finale episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
On January 23, PEOPLE confirmed the news with readers, stating that footage of the secret wedding of Robyn, 43, and Juan, 44, was filmed after production wrapped — and did not feature any of Robyn’s RHOP castmates.
The outlet also revealed Robyn is expected to speak more about the intimate wedding at the reunion, which was filmed last week.
As fans may recall, Robyn and Juan obtained a marriage license in August of last year at the Howard County Clerk’s Office in Maryland. And at the time, a county clerk confirmed they had until February to wed.
On Sunday’s episode of RHOP, Robyn was seen speaking to co-stars Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Candiace Dillard-Bassett, Mia Thornton, Karen Huger, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, and Jacqueline Blake about her impending wedding to Juan amid a cast trip to Mexico.
“I don’t even know if I want a wedding. I don’t know if I need one — like, a traditional wedding,” she admitted.
According to Robyn, she hoped to keep things “super simple” with a private ceremony featuring only Juan and the kids.
“It’ll just the four of us. We’re not telling anyone,” she shared, later adding, “It’s literally just ceremony and that’s it. We don’t need no cake, no reception — nothing.”
Then, in a confessional, she further stated, “The thought of an actual wedding and all the pomp and circumstances that come with it, that doesn’t excite me. It just feels more special to do it privately, without worrying about everyone else and how they perceive it.”
Although Robyn and Dixon continued to live together after their divorce for the sake of their kids, their friendly relationship eventually turned romantic once again. By season four, they were “[doing it] like bunny rabbits,” and by season five, they were re-engaged.
“Sweeter the second time around! Thank you to everyone who loved, supported, rooted and prayed for Juan and I,” Robyn said on Instagram at that time. “We truly appreciate all of the love and congratulatory wishes as we embark on #DixonsPartDeux.”
Speaking to PEOPLE at BravoCon in October, Robyn admitted she and Juan grew closer through their struggles.
“I will be honest, if Juan and I were not broke and honestly if we weren’t on the show, we probably would not be together today,” Robyn said. “I say that because having to come together when you’re financially struggling and having to support one another for the sake of your kids, it was more so we wanted each other to get to a better place because we have children.”
“If we had divorced and been in a great place financially, he would have been off, I don’t know, [in] California, living his life,” she continued. “I’d be off in New York living my life. We would not have been forced to come together to try to make things work. … [But] going through those financial struggles and living together and supporting each other and watching each other get better and grow and establish careers, that actually helped bring us back together.”
Following their December 2019 engagement, Robyn and Juan were forced to postpone their initial plans to wed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and later opted to instead focus on building their dream home.
